The Rural Development Administration has been selecting "Korea's Best Agricultural Technology Master" since 2009 to promote pride in agriculture and spread its willingness to succeed to other farmers by selecting the best farmers who contribute to regional agricultural development through excellent agricultural technology.
Based on production, any farmer with the highest level of technology (food crops, vegetables, fruit trees, special crops, livestock) and strong craftsmanship can apply for Korean agricultural masters (more than 20 years of total farming experience, 15 years of experience in the same field). 56 agricultural masters have been selected since 2009 by 2020.
Korean Agricultural Master's passion, efforts, and know-how for agricultural technology will become a successful activity model for young people and people returned to farm who are starting a new farm with accelerating the development of local agriculture.
